An original, hand-sculpted biophilic statement vase in premium heirloom stoneware.
There is a strange, whimsical tension in the objects we choose to surround ourselves with. Standing at approximately 22cm tall and 15cm wide, this hand-formed vase acts as a playground where innocence and a deep, watchful surrealism collide. It belongs somewhere between a vintage fairground memory and a quiet, hidden corner of a dreaming mind.
The main body is hand-sculpted from a raw, textured oatmeal stoneware clay, left unglazed on the exterior to preserve the authentic touch of the maker’s hands. Striking out from this matte surface is a large, central eye medallion—glazed in a brilliant, glossy turquoise with a complex spiraling pattern stamped directly into its core. It is the watchful eye of a quiet protector, keeping guard over your space.
Clustering around the sides of the eye are hand-pinched, sculptural ceramic flowers in soft, nostalgic pastel tones of marshmallow pink, primrose yellow, and muted lavender. The theme continues inside the fluted, undulating rim, which reveals a beautiful carousel-striped pattern of pastel blue, pink, and yellow slips, making the interior just as intriguing as the exterior.
This piece is built to celebrate life and color. It works beautifully to hold a fresh seasonal bouquet, showcase delicate dried botanicals, or simply stand alone as an eccentric, sculptural centerpiece within your home.
