There is a beautiful, simple joy in gathering together, slowing down, and passing a cup among your favorite people. Built as an intimate set of four nesting vessels, these cups are made specifically for sharing ceremonies with your closest friends—whether that means pouring a warm, rich ceremonial cacao or passing around a crisp tequila.

I hand-formed the set from a raw, textured oatmeal stoneware clay, leaving the outer walls unglazed so they feel warm and grounded against your palms. Climbing up the side of the column is a bright, hand-sculpted ladder of joyful yellow rungs. When the cups are nested, the rungs interlock seamlessly, creating a beautiful climb of human connection.

As you pull the stack apart to share your drink, the ladder ascends—a playful reminder that every shared story and burst of laughter lifts the energy of the room higher. Dangling from the yellow rungs are miniature, hand-carved ceramic eye charms. These permanent, watchful little eyes act as the ultimate guardians of your circle. As you pass the cups around, the eyes swing along the ladder, playfully keeping watch over your secrets, protecting your gossip, and ensuring only pure joy enters your space.
